Born 29 May 2001 in Valenciennes, Julie Dufour is a young midfielder who already boasts plenty of experience at the elite level.   After starting out with ES Fenain (59) and US Escaudain (59), Julie joined LOSC in 2016. She made her D1 debut on 15 October 2017 against Marseille. At just 16 years of age she played 5 games in D1 that season in a team captained by Ouleymata Sarr, with whom she will be reunited her in Bordeaux.   Julie went from strength to strength in 2018-2019, making 13 appearances and scoring twice, against Paris FC and Metz, as well as playing in the Coupe de France final against Lyon. But in spite of her strong performances, Lille were relegated to D2 at the end of the season.   Julie decided to stick with LOSC, becoming a key fixture of the team which finished third in D2 the following season and scoring 7 goals in 14 games.   At just 19, Julie already has a wealth of international experience and won the European U19 championship with France in 2019 (beating Germany 2-1 in the final). Now a key member of the France U20 squad, she joins Bordeaux with the ambition of continuing her personal development as well as helping Pedro Martinez Losa's side to reach new heights. Julie Dufour has signed a deal which will keep her with the club until 2023.   Bienvenue Julie !
