Emeric Depussay turns pro !

The Girondins de Bordeaux are pleased to announce that promising young midfielder Emeric Depussay has signed a 3-year contract which will keep him within the club until at least 2023.   Born on 27 August 2001 in Pessac, Emeric joined the Girondins youth set-up in 2014 from local club Mérignac-Arlac. The hard-grafting midfielder has passed through the ranks of the Academy, from the U17 Regional side all the way up to the Reserves, whom he captained on several occasions last season. Emeric has drawn praise from his coaches for his leadership skills both on the pitch and off. He will now continue to work hard and progress as he seeks to carve out a place in the professional squad.   The Girondins are delighted to welcome Emeric as our newest professional, and we hope to be seeing much more of him over the next few seasons.
