Yassine Boujouama turns pro!

The Girondins de Bordeaux are pleased to announce that Yassine Boujouama has signed his first professional contract with our club. The young hopeful has agreed a 3-year deal. Born 23 July 2001 in Chambray-les-Tours, Yassine will turn 19 next month. He joined the Girondins less than a year ago from Tours. Since then, the young midfielder made good upon the promise detected by Bordeaux's scouts. Capable of playing as a defensive midfielder or a playmaker, Yassine is a technically gifted player who loves creating chances for his team-mates as well as making chances of his own with his passing, dribbling and charging runs. He got his first taste of life as a professional last saison when he trained with the first team squad under Paulo Sousa. This first professional deal is a major step in Yassine's sporting career. We hope that he will continue to progress, working hard to earn a place in the squad. The Girondins are delighted that Yassine has pledged his future to the club, and we wish him all the very best for the coming seasons in Bordeaux.
