Ruben Pardo joins Bordeaux!

Ruben Pardo has officially joined the Girondins. The Spanish midfielder put pen to paper on a two-season deal which will keep him in Bordeaux until 2022. Born 22 October 1992 in Logroño, Spain, Ruben Pardo joined the Real Sociedad youth academy at an early age. He made his debut for the club's reserve side in Segunda Liga B, playing 37 matches, scoring one goal and providing one assist. He then turned professional in 2011, making 194 first-team appearances for Real Sociedad, scoring 7 goals and creating 34. He also played 5 matches in the Champions League, and 4 in the Europa League. He spent the 2016/2017 season on loan with Real Bétis, before returning to Real Sociedad. The Girondins de Bordeaux are thrilled to welcome an experienced player of  Ruben's calibre to the club, and wish him every possible success with the club. Bienvenue Ruben Pardo !
