Issouf Sissokho signs for the Girondins !

Issouf Sissokho, Born 30th Kanuary 2002 in Bamako, Mali, has signed an 18-month loan deal with the club. The young midfielder started out at CFC Daoula in Bamako before moving to the Derby County academy. He has represented Mali at U20 level, and played in the African Games in 2019. The youngster will start out with the Reserves, learning the ropes of French football in the National 3 division under the watchful eye of Manu Giudicelli. A great opportunity for Issouf to continue to progress and improve. His loan deal also includes an option for the club to sign Issouf on a permanent basis. Today is also his 18th birthday, so a very happy birthday Issouf and welcome to the Girondins de Bordeaux !
