Aurélien Tchouaméni joins Monaco

The Girondins de Bordeaux can now officially confirm the transfer of Aurélien Tchouaméni to AS Monaco. The young defensive midfielder leaves us right at the end of the January transfer window. Born 27th January 2000, Aurélien is a pure product of the Bordeaux Academy, and was part of the youth team that were crowned France U19 champions a few seasons ago. Meanwhile, he was also earning caps at U16, U17, U18 and U19 level for France. He made his professional debut in the Summer of 2018, in a Europa League qualifier against Ventspils. So far this season he has played 15 matches in Ligue 1 and provided one assist. Aurélien has now opted for a move to Monaco, and we wish him all the success he deserves in his career.
