A special shirt in honour of Emiliano Sala

The Girondins will play Nantes this Sunday at the Stade de la Beaujoire, kick-off 5pm. The game will also provide an opportunity for both clubs to pay tribute to Emiliano Sala, who tragically died in a plane crash on 21st January 2019. To mark the occasion, the Girondins will wear a special commemorative shirt bearing the initials of the club's former protégé and the national flag of Argentina, just below the Girondins crest. A symbolic gesture to show that, here in Bordeaux, "Emi" will always be in our hearts.
