Weekend round-up

Girondines Reserves After drawing with Pau last week, the Bordelaises got back to winning ways at home this weekend. Their rescheduled game against Aviron Bayonnais ended in a thumping 7-0 victory, taking the girls up to fourth place in the league. U19 National The U19 boys did not get on quite so well, slipping to a 1-0 defeat against Stade Rennais. Bordeaux remain fifth in the league. U19 Ladies The U19s winning run came to an abrupt end in Lyon, where the girls lost 3-0 to Olympique Lyonnais.  U17 National Three in a row for the U17s, who this Sunday beat Niort 3 - 2 in a hard-fought away game. A bright start to 2020 for the youngsters. U17 Regional Meanwhile, the U17 regional side progressed to the next round of the Coupe de Gironde by beating Floirac (3-0) in the fifth round. The adventure continues.  U16 Regional The Girondins' friendly against Lège-Cap-Ferret was called off due to the Coupe de Gironde commitments of Lège.
