Alexandre Mendy loaned to Brest

Alexandre Mendy is swapping Gironde for Brittany. The centre forward is heading out on loan for the season to newly-promoted Stade Brestois 29. Alexandre started out at Nice, but turned professional in the National division with Strasbourg, playing 13 matches and scoring 6 goals in Alsace. In 2014 he made the move to Ligue 2 outfit Nîmes.  He then made his Ligue 1 debut with Nice in 2015, making 21 appearances and scoring 6 goals. The following year he signed for Guingamp and put in another solid season, scoring 6 times in 29 appearances in all competitions.  Alexandre Mendy joined the Girondins in 2017. In his first season in Bordeaux he featured in 18 matches and scored 4 goals. The following season saw him rejoin Guingamp on loan, scoring 3 goals in 16 games The Girondins de Bordeaux wish Alexandre all the best for the coming season.
