First match of the season at the Matmut Atlantique !

This Sunday at 5pm (gates open), FC Girondins de Bordeaux will welcome fans to a pre-season showcase like no other: a double bill featuring both of our professional teams taking on prestigious opposition. All tickets are on sale at the special price of €15 (or €5 for under 16s accompanied by an adult).. The ladies will play Athletic Bilbao at 18:00 in their second pre-season friendly. After that, the men will face Genoa at 20:45 in their last game before the Ligue 1 season kicks off next weekend. This will also be the first match of the season at the Matmut Atlantique for the Girondines. Pedro Martinez Losa's squad have been back in training for two weeks now, with 5 nex recruits joining the ranks. After a disciplined victory over the China U19 side (1-0), Bordeaux's three World Cup stars have now returned to training. This gala evening is a perfect opportunity to discover our newest players: Charlotte Bilbault, Inès Jaurena, Estelle Cascarino, Khadija Shaw and Ouleymata Sarr will all be joining World Cup heroes Viviane Asseyi, Kathellen Sousa and Erin Nayler. After a strong showing last season (finishing 4th in the league), and with a tight-knit group plus some high-profile recruits, this year Bordeaux plan to be right up there competing at the top of the table. And of course, ahead of their first Ligue 1 game against Angers on Saturday 10th August, come down to the stadium this Sunday to get a sneak preview of the new additions to the men's squad: Loris Benito, Ui-Jo Hwang, Enock Kwateng, Edson Mexer and David Cardoso.
