Estelle Cascarino signs for Bordeaux

Estelle Cascarino is coming to Bordeaux ! The defender has signed a two year deal which will keep her under contract with the club until June 2021. Born 5th February 1997 in Saint-Priest, just outside Lyon, Estelle started out at Olympique Lyonnais. She played for OL U19 in 2012-2013, before stepping up to the first team the following season.       Estelle made her D1 debut in 2014-2015, winning the French league title in 2015 and 2016 with OL. In 2016 she left Lyon for Juvisy, which has since become Paris FC. In three seasons in the capital she proved herself to be a regular, reliable performer, racking up 44 appearances in D1. In the meantime, Estelle earned a slew of international call-ups with the French youth sides, winning 41 caps between the U16 and U20 age levels. She reached the U20 World Cup Final in 2016, winning the U19 Euros that same year. She was called up to the first team in 2017, winning her first full cap against Ghana. Already a graduate of France's best youth academy, Estelle has gone from strength to strength in recent years. The Girondins de Bordeaux are delighted to have secured the signature of a young player who already has such a wealth of experience at the top level.
