Claire Lavogez has signed an extension to her contract with Bordeaux. The French international has signed on for two more seasons, and will be with Bordeaux until at least 2021. Claire made her top flight debut at the age of just 16 with Hénin-Baumont, soon moving to Montpellier where she won two French titles at U19 level. With 60 appearances in D1 (60 matches), her four years down south were fruitful ones. After winning the Euro U19 championship with France in 2013, she made her full international debut on 25 October 2014 in the Bleues' victory over Germany. She has since racked up 35 caps with the national first team. In 2015 Claire's strong performances earned caught the eye of the biggest name in women's football: Olympique Lyonnais. In her two seasons in Lyon Claire won the league title twice (2016, 2017), the Coupe de France twice (2016, 2017) and, of course, the Champions League twice (2016, 2017). "I'm delighted to extend my contract with the Girondines because something big is happening here. The Club has great ambitions. That's what made me decide to stay here in Bordeaux. I'm looking forward to another great season!" Loaned to Fleury in 2017/2018, she made the move to Le Haillan in the summer of 2018. She has since made 21 appearances for the Girondines, and her experience and talent played a big role in the superb season enjoyed by Jérôme Dauba's side. The club is thrilled to have Claire on board for two more seasons!
