After two years with the club, 6 players are leaving us this summer. We wanted to take this opportunity to thank them for everything they have done for the club. Their talent, their commitment and their hard work have been essential in the rapid rise of our ladies team, and their contribution to the club as a whole has been huge. We wish them all the very best in their future careers. SOLENE BARBANCE Solène (27) has spent two seasons in Bordeaux, featuring in 43 matches in D1 (2 goals). After starting out at Rodez Solène played for Toulouse, PSG, Muret and Albi before joining Bordeaux. The attacking midfielder has been one of the most frequently-selected players over the past two years, and came runner-up in the vote for goal of the season 2017-2018. ROSE LAVAUD Like Solène, Rose (27) joined us in the summer of 2017 after six seasons in Saint-Etienne. This pacy, hard-working midfielder has also been a regular presence on the Girondines team sheet, racking up 40 appearances (2 goals) in just two seasons. CAROL Our Brazilian striker (24) joined in July 2017 straight from Orlando Pride in Florida. After an impressive trial period, she rapidly proved her goalscoring capabilities in the league. A serious injury left her side-lined for several months, but Carol came back even stronger and played 20 matches over the past two seasons (scoring 5 goals). CHLOE BORNES Hailing from Albi, Chloé (25) played for Toulouse and Rodez before joining the Girondins in 2017. She made 15 appearances in D1, including 4 in the 2018-2019 season. JULIANE GATHRAT Since joining us from Metz in 2017, Juliane (22) has played 32 top-flight games and scored three goals. One of her most memorable moments was the stunning winning goal she scored against Marseille (1-0, 89’) in her first season with the club. MELIKE PEKEL Loaned to Bordeaux by Paris SG this winter, the Turkish international played 5 games for the Girondines and scored once - against Metz.
