Euro U17 is underway

France U17 are currently in action in Euro 2019 in Ireland. Les Bleuets played their first match last Friday, a 1-1 draw with England. After conceding first, France levelled with a goal from Adil Aouchiche. Two young Girondins were involved in the match: Amadou Traoré started on the wing, before being subbed off in the 59th minute for fellow Bordeaux apprentice Dilane Bakwa. France face Sweden later today (18:00) and the Netherlands on Thursday (17:30). All four semi-finalists in this competition will automatically qualify for the U17 World Cup, to be held in Brazil this October.
