Melike Pekel agrees loan deal

The Girondines were also in action this transfer deadline day: PSG striker Melike Pekel has signed a loan deal for the next six months. Born in Germany on 14th April 1995, Melike Pekel started her career at TSV Schwaben Augsburg. She made 39 appearances for the first team, scoring 20 goals, before making the move to Bayern Munich in 2014. She won the Frauen-Bundesliga with Bayern in 2015. In January 2017 Melike moved to France, starting out on a loan deal at Metz. Five goals in 11 games were enough to catch the eye of PSG, who signed her up at the end of the season. She has also been a stand-out performer for the Turkish national side, scoring 7 goals in 20 appearances. Let's hope she's just as prolific here in Bordeaux. Welcome Melike Pekel !
