Josh Maja signs for the Girondins!

The Girondins de Bordeaux are delighted to announce the arrival of Josh Maja from Sunderland. At just 20 years of age, the young London-born striker spent spells with the academies of Crystal Palace, Fulham and Manchester City before joining Sunderland. During his time with thre Black Cats, Maja progressed through the ranks from the youth side up to the first team squad. The 2017/2018 season saw him burst into the first team on a permanent basis, making 17 appearances and scoring his first professional goal against Fulham on 16th December 2017 at the Stadium Of Light. Pacy, technical and a clinical finisher, Josh Maja is an out-and-out striker and a very promising prospect for the future. He has already racked up 15 goals in 24 appearances in League One so far this season.
