Club Statement

Along with the rest of France's football community, the FC Girondins de Bordeaux were shocked and upset by yesterday's news about Emiliano Sala. All of the staff, players and coaches who knew Emiliano during his time here are particularly preoccupied. We are all eagerly awaiting further information regarding the search efforts. The club would like to take this opportunity to offer our sympathies and support to his family, his friends and all those who knew and loved Emi. We continue to hope for a miracle.
