Girondins win 5 goal thriller! [3-2]

What a match! Anybody remember last week's villain, the VAR of Dijon? The tight-fisted video referee ruined the game for the Girondins. Not so this time round! The VAR was fair and accurate, and in our favour! Bordeaux, meanwhile, were firing: Yann Karamoh (37’) and Pablo (41’) had excellent chances in the first half.   But Diony had already put the visitors ahead early on, and ex-Girondin Khazri equalised in the second half.  Jimmy Briand equalised (22’) and François Kamano briefly put Bordeaux ahead (57’) before that Khazri goal.   And then the real drama began: in the 76th minute, referee Clement Turpin pulled out his red card for Younousse Sankharé. That was until Mr. Turpin decided to check the VAR. Change of plan: Younousse Sankharé was back, with a yellow card. Sent off and then called back on: a first! But the drama wasn't over yet: in the dying seconds of the game, Pablo slammed the ball past Ruffier and into the back of the net (90+1) to snatch a last-gasp victory!
