Slavia took on Sparta in the Prague derby this weekend, with the game ending in a draw. Trailing 2-1 at the break, Slavia pulled level thanks to a 70th-minute equaliser from T. Soucek (2-2).  Meanwhile it was derby day in Copenhagen too, with Brondby v. FCK. FC Copenhagen snatched a late victory thanks to a timely goal from youngster Jonas Wind (0-1).  Zenit Saint Petersburg also won by the narrowest of margins this weekend, with Claudio Marchisio scoring the only goal of the game from the penalty spot. Despite the red card shown to Leandro Paredes in the 83rd minute, Zenit held on to secure the victory and maintain their spot at the top of the table (1-0). All three of the Girondins' Group C rivals are currently top of their respective domestic leagues.
