Crunch Time. The Girondins thought they'd saved their skin in the 84th minute!  Younousse Sankharé snatched a late equaliser, and thought he'd snatched a point for Bordeaux... until Skov scored the winner deep into injury time (90+3, 1-2). And yet… The Matmut Atlantique had gone wild when Younousse Sankharé fired in his close-range volley to level the scores (1-1). Finally, a spot of good luck on a night when the Girondins had not had much to cheer about! François Kamano had rattled the crossbar (30’) before missing a penalty just before the break (45’). Things got off to a promising start for the Girondins, but Andersen did well to save an early shot from Samuel Kalu (13’). François Kamano then tested the keeper and the woodwork with his powerful drive (18’), only for Sotiriou to sneak in a goal for Copenhagen from their first chance of the match (42’).   After the break the Girondins pushed hard to get back on level terms. On the hour mark Benoît Costil produced a magnificent save to keep them in the game. Shortly afterwards Eric Bedouet decided to make two changes: Jimmy Briand and François Kamano made way for Andreas Cornelius and Yann Karamoh. A move which almost paid off when Karamoh came close to scoring with practically his first touch of the ball (63’). Bordeaux were giving it their all to find an equaliser, and Pablo's enthusiasm earned him a yellow card. With fifteen minutes still to play, Aurélien Tchouaméni came on for Lukas Lerager. The Girondins kept on pushing, and Samuel Kalu hit the post once again. Luck was clearly not on Bordeaux's side this evening, despite a very late red card for FCK's Zeca (90+5).   Younousse Sankharé's equaliser gave the Girondins reason to believe, but they allowed themselves to be caught out from a late corner. Skov restored Copenhagen's lead, leaving Bordeaux to digest the bitter pill of a second consecutive defeat in the UEFA Europa League.
