Justine Dupont and Fred David sign partnership deals

New Marketing deal: Justine Dupont will wear the colours of FC Girondins de Bordeaux at all events in which she competes, as well as representing Girondins Sport Events for all surf-related projects and activities. A technical partnership: Justine and Fred will work with the Girondins Sport Events team on development, improvement and innovation in the design and delivery of surfing events, focusing especially on products and activities for professional competitors and amateur surfers. Justine Dupont: Runner up in the world longboard championship 2007 (at the age of 15) Runner up in the world big wave league 2016. French and European longboard champion several times over Runner up in world Stand Up Paddle championship ISA Surf Team World Champion with France Fred David: Body Surf world champion Jetski pilot and lifeguard, he is Justine's designated driver and support man for big wave surfing. Stéphane Martin: "We're already involved with the organisation of the Lacanau Pro, and we really want to get more involved with surfing and ocean sports. It's a big part of our region's identity. It's important for us to be involved with these iconic sports, and developing a culture of sport and adventure is good news for everybody. The club will be providing support for Justine and Fred, and they'll be wearing the Girondins colours in their competitions." Justine Dupont: "It's great to be part of the Girondins family. For the biggest sports club in the region to be taking an interest in extreme sports, that's really important. I was born and brought up in Bordeaux, I'm a fan of the club and so is Fred. The aim is to open ourselves up to new sports, and benefit from the club's experience in terms of athletic preparations and sports science, which could be really useful for us."
