Corps de texte
The French goalkeeper, a product of the Troyes youth academy, has extended his contract with the Girondins de Bordeaux by a year. Having joined the club in 2016, Paul will now be a Bordeaux player until at least 2021.  A former French youth international, Paul Bernardoni is still just 21 years old. He spent last season on loan with Clermont Foot 63, playing 38 league games and keeping an impressive 14 clean sheets. This superb season earned him the UNFP award for best goalkeeper in Ligue 2.  As he continues to grow in experience and stature, Paul is now heading to Nîmes Olympique. Freshly promoted to Ligue 1, this spell with Nîmes will be an important stepping stone in Paul Bernardoni's career. A great opportunity to get another taste of life in the top division, a league he first discovered with Troyes in 2015/16.  We wish Paul all the best for the coming season with the Crocodiles.
