Fernando Menegazzo leaves the Club

Since returning to the club in January as a member of Gus Poyet's coaching staff, Fernando Menegazzo has played a major role in turning around the fortunes of the professional side. Still deeply attached to the club, the former midfielder jumped at the chance to return to Bordeaux even in trying times, bringing with him a wealth of experience, skill and enthusiasm. But family comes first, and for personal reasons Fernando cannot currently extend his stay with the Girondins de Bordeaux. Everyone here at the club is grateful for his commitment and devotion to the Girondins over the past six months, and proud to be able to depend on the loyalty of one of our most iconic players.
