Lukas Lerager and Martin Braithwaite off to Russia!

Lukas Lerager and Martin Braithwaite, Bordeaux's Danish duo, rounded off their warm-up matches with an emphatic win over Mexico on Saturday (2-0). Both Girondins have featured in the warm-up games, and will be vying for a place in the Denmark starting 11.  Denmark's other warm-up game was a goalless draw with Sweden, in which Martin Braithwaite was a second-half substitute but Lukas Lerager did not feature.  Led by playmaker Christian Eriksen, the Danes will be looking to make a splash in Group C - not least in their match against France.  Keep an eye on the boys' progress at World Cup 2018 :  Saturday 16th June ; Peru - Denmark Thursday 21st June ; Denmark - Australia Tuesday 26th June ; Denmark - France All of us here at the Girondins will be cheering on Lukas and Martin, and we wish them and Denmark all the best in the world's biggest football tournament!
