Bordeaux qualify for Europe!

Bordeaux thrashed Metz 4 - 0 this evening (full match report to follow), while closest rivals Nice slipped up in Lyon. This dramatic turn of events means that Gus Poyet's  team move up to sixth place, snatching the final European qualifying spot. After a season of dramatic ups and downs, the Girondins finished sixth in the 2017-2018 Conforama Ligue 1 table. Which means that Bordeaux will return to the Europa League next year!
