Vukasin Jovanovic loaned to Eibar

The Girondins de Bordeaux have reached an agreement with SD Eibar (Spain) for the transfer of Vukasin Jovanovic. The central defender joins the Basque team on loan, with an option to buy included in the contract. The Serbian central defender joined Bordeaux on loan from Zenith Saint Petersburg on 31st January 2017, and made 8 appearances in Ligue 1. Since signing a permanent deal with the club in the summer, Vukasin has played 16 games in the league and one in the Coupe de France. With Eibar, the former Serbia youth international will take on a new challenge and discover La Liga. The Basque club is flying high this season, currently sitting 8th in the table with 29 points.
