A winning weekend for the U19s and U15s

The U19 Girls of Girondins USA travelled to North Carolina this weekend for the ‘’Visit Raleigh Showcase.’’ They got off to a strong start with a 2-1 victory over HMS Eagles FC Villa 99. After a set-back against Herndon United 99 (2-1), they secured a 2-0 victory over IMG Academy 99 in their third and final match.  Thanks to these results, the Girondins USA were crowned U19 Elite Navy Division champions. Meanwhile, the Girondins USA U15s were at the "APC Winter Girls Showcase" in Virginia. They played some great football in all three of their games, moving the ball around well in midfield and showing off the style of play they have worked so hard to perfect this season. The results were emphatic: a 6-1 demolition of Yorktown FC Liberty, a 3-1 victory over Potomac Gray Dragons and, to round off the weekend, a 3-0 win over ASA PGSA CD Alianza.  The U15s were on fine attacking form, with Natalie Price the stand-out performer: she scored 8 of the Girondins' 12 goals. The Girondins USA were crowned U15 Bracket A Champions. Congratulations to Girondins USA for a fantastic weekend of football!
