Back to work for the Ladies

Over the weekend, Jérôme Dauba's players continued their preparations for the 2017/2018 season.  On Saturday morning, under a blazing sun, the ladies kicked off the day with a training session at Archachon's Jean Brousse stadium. On the programme: physical conditioning followed by ball work. With just under a month to go until the first league match, the girls are working hard on finding their rhythm and integrating the seven new summer signings. After lunch the ladies set off to climb the famous Dune du Pilat, all 110 metres of it. This trip was another opportunity to strengthen the squad's sense of team spirit. And of course all that effort was repaid with a spectacular view from the summit of the dune, a chance for the newcomers to discover one of our region's most beautiful spots. The Girondines were back in Le Haillan on Monday for another week of intensive training, culminating in the friendly game against Soyaux this Saturday at 18:30 in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles.
