France put on an incredible display of football on Friday evening to destroy North Macedonia (11-0). This victory keeps the girls joint top of qualifying Group G with Austria, both on 15 points. The next two games will be crucial, with France and Austria going head-to-head in back-to-back fixtures. The first game will be played tonight (Tuesday 27 October) at the Stadion Wiener Neustadt (21:00). Charlotte Bilbault and Estelle Cascarino both started for the Bleues, with Charlotte playing with her usual flair and confidence before coming off in the 68th minute. This was her 28th appearance for the national side at the top level. Estelle played at right back, playing the full 90 minutes as she earned her 4th full cap.

Katja Snoeijs also had a gala evening - the Girondins striker started for the Netherlands in their crushing victory over Estonia (7-0), securing qualification for Euro 2022 in England. Better still, Katja scored her first international goal! This was her 3rd full cap, and she played the whole 90 minutes. The Netherlands now travel to face Kosovo this Tuesday.
