The Girondines had a tricky away game in Le Havre to deal with this weekend, handling the pressure with ease to chalk up a resounding victory. Ghoutia Karchouni (7') and Khadija Shaw (15') settled the matter in the space of 8 first-half minutes, and the rest was plain sailing. The scoreline would surely have been much bigger were it not for Le Havre keeper Constance Picaud, who had a very good game.   Katja Snoeijs set the tone right from the whistle, charging into the hosts' defence. Khadija Shaw had a first goal disallowed for offside before Le Havre had even managed to catch their breath (3'). The scene was set for the rest of this game: all-out domination by the Girondines. Ghoutia Karchouni put Bordeaux ahead in the 7th minute (0-1). Four minutes later, Khadija Shaw drew a fine save from Picaud (11').    With fifteen minutes played, Khadija Shaw capped off a lung-busting run and superb dribble by scoring Bordeaux's second goal. The strike itself was a thing of beauty, and the goal put the Girondines firmly in control of this game (15', 0-2). This one-way traffic continued for the rest of the first half, with Andréa Lardez (24'), Maëlle Garbino (30') and Ghoutia Karchouni (34') all seeing decent efforts stopped by Picaud in the Le Havre goal.   After the break, Khadija Shaw narrowly missed the target with a volley (50'). Le Havre finally had their first chance of the game, a shot struck by Clark which failed to trouble Anna Moorhouse (52'). Pedro Martinez Losa decided to make a few changes, with the match firmly under control. And that was that.   What could have been a tricky away fixture turned out to be an easy day at the office for the Girondines, thanks to their discipline, hard work and creative spark.
