Massive win for France (12-0)

Tuesday evening saw the final round of qualifying games for Euro 2022. Les Bleues, already qualified thanks to their victory over Austria last Friday, thrashed Kazakhstan 12-0! Charlotte Bilbault started the game, making history by becoming the first Bordeaux player to captain France. She came within a whisker of scoring too, but was denied by the woodwork. Estelle Cascarino and Eve Périsset also started, and scored their first international goals. Julie Thibaud stayed on the bench this time. This resounding success cemented France Women's first-placed finish (7 wins, 1 draw), with 44 goals scored in 8 matches and not a single goal conceded! Euro 2022 will be played in England, from 6th-31st July 2022.
