Lenny Pirringuel turns pro!

Another youngster from the Academy has signed his first professional contract with the Club! We are very pleased to announce that Lenny Pirringuel has signed a deal which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2022-2023 season. Born 2 March 2004 in Talence, Lenny is 16. He now becomes the youngest professional player in the history of the club, tied with Henri Saivet.

Having played for Cadaujac and Villenave as a kid, Lenny joined the Girondins in 2013 at the age of 11. He has worked his way up through the Academy teams, featuring regularly for the U19s this season. At international level, Lenny has already won three caps with France U16. He even scored his first international goal in a friendly against Italy (2-2). This season he has been called up to the France U17 squad for training camps, but the pandemic has put paid to their scheduled matches.

A talented and hard-working midfielder, Lenny will now continue to progress and develop with the Club. He is a young player with enormous potential, and we look forward to watching his talent blossom under the watchful eye of our youth coaches.
