Paul Baysse extends his contract until 2024

The club is very pleased to announce that Paul Baysse has signed a contract extension. The central defender has committed himself to the club for the next three seasons, until June 2024.  

This new deal is recognition of Paul's talent, performances and attitude. A graduate of the Academy with a deep attachment to the club, Paul has proven time and again that he is a fighter. After something of a rough patch, he battled back to establish himself as a major force on the pitch and in the dressing room, always giving 100% for the team.

Paul is also an experienced professional, whose career has included loan spells with Sedan, Brest, Saint-Etienne, Nice, Malaga and Caen. He has made a total of 300 professional appearances, including 189 in Ligue 1. He has also played in Europe with both Saint-Etienne and Nice. The club is delighted to have secured Paul's services for the coming seasons, as the Girondins fight to regain their rightful spot at the top table.
