Over Mandanda loaned to Laval

The Girondins de Bordeaux can now confirm that Over Mandanda has been loaned to Stade Lavallois Mayenne FC (National) for the remainder of the season. Born on 26 October 1998 in Evreux, Over started out with Parisian team Créteil. He joined the Girondins Academy in 2013, and has worked his way up through the club's youth sides.

He was part of the league-winning U19 team in 2016-2017, and in the following season made 11 appearances for the reserves as they won promotion to National 2. He officially turned pro in May 2018. With competition stiff in the first team, Over spent 2019-2020 on loan with US Créteil-Lusitanos, making his professional debut with his boyhood club in the Coupe de France and in the National Division.

Over is now ready for the next chapter in his young career, with Laval. The "Tangos" are currently 8th in the National division with 24 points, six points of 3rd place. The Mayenne-based outfit are one of France's most historic football clubs, and are now battling to get back into L2. Up in Laval, Over will have an opportunity to continue his progression and rack up more experience on the pitch.
