Josh Maja loaned to Fulham FC

The Girondins de Bordeaux can now confirm that Josh Maja has been loaned to Premier League side Fulham FC, with an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season. Born on 27 December 1998 in Lewisham, London, Josh Maja spent time at the Manchester City FC youth academy before joining Sunderland. He moved to Gironde in the January 2019 transfer window, and has made 45 appearances for the club in Ligue 1, scoring 9 goals. Known for his ruthlessly cool finishing under pressure, Josh earned his first international cap for Nigeria in September 2019.  The club would like to wish him all the best for his return to London !
