Coupe de France Féminines suspended

The Girondines trounced Le Havre last weekend in the 3rd round of the Coupe de France (5-0). They are now through to the last 16, but will have to wait a while longer to find out who their next opponents will be. As with the men's edition of the cup, the Coupe de France Féminine has two routes to qualification for the later rounds. Unfortunately, the lower league clubs involved in the regional finals have been unable to complete their matches on account of the current Covid restrictions.

There are still multiple games left to play, and no indication that competition will return before mid-March. With this weekend's league game also postponed, the Girondines will not be in action again until the end of the month. As luck would have it, that next game will be against Le Havre in D1 (27 February).
