In the Girondines' match against Le Havre on 27 February, Maëlle was on sensational form. She effectively put the game to bed within 25 minutes with a majestic hat trick (6’,7’, 25’). Maëlle and co. went on to win 6-0. This player of the month award is a career first for Maëlle. She thus becomes the second Bordeaux player to win the public vote this season, with Khadija Shaw already named player of the month on two occasions.
