Terms agreed for Mylène Chavas

The Girondins de Bordeaux have agreed terms to sign Mylène Chavas from Dijon FCO (D1 Arkéma). She will now undergo a medical and sign the necessary paperwork to complete the deal. Mylène was born in January 1998 in Sainte-Colombe-sur-Gand (Loire). The goalkeeper started out with local club Vénin before moving to AS Saint-Etienne, where she made her D1 debut in 2014-2015. After five seasons with ASSE, Mylène moved to Dijon. She spent three seasons with DFCO, becoming first-choice keeper last year. At just 23 she already has a wealth of footballing experience, with 90 professional appearances including 56 in D1. She has also represented France at all of the youth levels, from U17 to U23, picking up 43 caps as well as a European U19 Champions' medal (2016). She was part of the team that finished runner-up in the 201 World Cup, where she was voted goalkeeper of the tournament. Mylène is one of France's great goalkeeping talents, and we are delighted that she has decided to join the Girondines!
