Vanessa Gilles at the Olympics

Vanessa Gilles is in action for Canada at the Olympics, and played in the opening game against hosts Japan yesterday (Wednesday 21 July) at the Saporro Dome. That game ended in a draw. Canada will now face Chile on Saturday at 9:30am. Their final group game sees them take on Team GB next Tuesday 27 July at 13:00. After goalless draws in their recent friendlies, Vanessa and her compatriots will be hoping to get back to winning ways soon as their Olympics campaign progresses.
