Tonight sees the Girondins travel to take on Marseille. OM won their first match, a tight 3-2 victory over Montpellier. Bordeaux, however, were beaten by Clermont Foot 63 (0-2).  So how have tonight's opponents been getting on in the transfer market this summer? They were very active early on, with Mickael Cuisance, Olivier Ntcham and Pol Lirola all leaving Marseille after loan spells. They also sold Strootman to Cagliari, Lucas Perrin to Strasbourg and Florian Thauvin to Mexican side Tigres.  In terms of arrivals, Gerson, Luan Peres, Konrad de la Fuente and Leonardo Balerdi have all joined on permanent deals. Cengiz Under, Mattéo Guendouzi and Pau Lopez have also arrived on loan, with options to buy. Last but not least, William Saliba has joined OM on a season-long loan. In their first game, Sampaoli set up his side in 3-2-4-1. Seven of the eight new recruits started last week, and it seems highly likely that the Girondins will be facing a wholly unfamiliar Marseille team this evening. Whatever happens, we know they'll be ready and motivated for the challenge.
