The Girondins are proud to announce the signing of Junior Onana. The Cameroon international has completed his medical and put pen to paper on a five year deal (until 2026).
Now aged 21, this promising young midfielder started out with local side Nkufo Académie, before moving to Europe to join the youth set-up at Leixões (Portugal).

In January 2020, Junior discovered Ligue 1 with LOSC, playing against Olympique de Marseille. He was then sent out on loan to Mouscron (Jupiler Pro League), where he made 28 appearances and scored 2 goals.
His strong performances earned him a call-up to the Cameroon national side. On 9 October 2020, he made his senior international debut in a friendly against Japan (0-0).
