Javairô Dilrosun signs for the Girondins

Born in June 1998 in Amsterdam, Javairô started out with Dutch legends Ajax. His talent soon caught the eye of Europe's biggest clubs, and Manchester City won the battle to recruit the promising youngster in 2014. He spent four years in England, playing with City's youth sides in the league, FA Cup and UEFA Youth League. He made a total of 39 appearances, scoring two goals and providing 12 assists.

In 2018, at the age of 20, the winger decided to head in a new direction: Germany, and a new adventure with Herta Berlin. He made his Bundesliga debut on 2 September 2018 against Schalke 04, contributing one assist in Herta's 2-0 victory. Over the past four seasons, Dilrosun has made 59 appearances, scored six goals and provided eight assists. Marked out as one to watch from an early age, the Amsterdam-born forward has been a regular feature of the Netherlands youth sides. From U15 to U21 level, he has racked up 58 caps and 17 goals. Javairô has also featured for the first team, winning his first full cap in November 2018 in a Nations League clash with Germany (2-2).

An extremely talented young winger, Javairô Dilrosun is pacy, incisive and technical, with the ability to deliver excellent crosses. He also has four years' experience in the Bundesliga under his belt, and the potential to progress further still. The Girondins are delighted to welcome Javairô.
