A fantastic weekend for our youth teams!

Pau FC–Bordeaux : 2-3 The U17s faced Pau FC in their fifth game of the season, and got caught out in the 7th minute when the hosts took an early lead courtesy of Kevin Touyet. After this tricky start, Noah Ramon equalised on the hour (60’). Pau very rapidly restored their lead (Loan Carraze 62’), but the Girondins showed immense strength of character in the last 10 minutes to wrest back control of the game. Enzo Grothe sealed the win with two late goals (83’ ; 90’). There was also some late disciplinary action, with a red card for both sides.

Bayonne-Bordeaux : 1-5 Another emphatic win saw our U17 Regional side go top of the table.

Bordeaux-Mérignac : 3-0 The U19s are also top of their division. In their sixth game of the season they faced local rivals SA Mérignac, cruising to a decisive victory thanks to goals from Hamza Bouhadi (35'), Cehaib El Moutawakil (50’) and Marvin De Lima (60’).

Bordeaux-Stade Poitevin : 3-0 The Reserves faced Stade Poitevin in their 4th game of the season, and got off to the best possible start with a goal from Logan Delaurier Chaubet in the 3rd minute. The game was effectively over before half time, thanks to further goals from Thibault Klidje (33’) and Emeric Depussay (44’). The Reserves are still riding high this season, with four victories from as many matches.

Saint-Malo – Bordeaux : 0-8 The girls travelled to face Saint-Malo in their 3rd outing of the season, making life easy for themselves with a very early goal (Maëlle Seguin 2’). That strike opened the floodgates to a flurry of goals from Manon Astier (44’ ; 53’ ; 72’ ; 90’), Ambre Basser Drunet (47’), Emma Lix (34’) and Chloé Geneste (85’). Bordeaux are currently joint top of the table with FC Nantes.
