Schoolboy side now joint top of the table with Montpellier and Toulouse.
The U17 National side faced Istres in their seventh game of the season, winning emphatically. After a tepid first half, Enzo Grothe got proceedings underway in the 53rd minute. Istres then equalised (61’), before an onslaught from the Girondins with goals from Enzo Grothe (68’), Cameron Constant (75’), Mehdi Harfi (78’) and Bayiha Biumla (83’).

The Girondines are joint top of the table with Nantes.
Facing Guingamp in their 4th game of the league season, the girls delivered a masterful performance to dominate throughout. Fiona Liaigre scored twice early on (2’ ; 24’), with Ambre Basser Drunet (30’), Melissa Gachet (40’), Serena Pinto De Quieros (52’), Juliette Besnard (65’) and Julie Roux (83’) all adding to the tally.
Bordeaux will face Nantes next week in a top of the table clash.
