Goalscorers and assists

After 11 games in Ligue 1, our top goalscorer is - unsurprisingly - Hwang Ui-Jo, with 4 goals from 9 appearances. The South Korea international has been on firing form so far this season, with a particularly stunning goal against Nantes in last weekend's Atlantic Derby. As ever, Hwang remains a vital attacking asset for the Girondins. This weekend also saw the first goal from Alberth Elis, the first Honduran to playfor Bordeaux, who scored against Lorient on 24 October 2021. 

Ricardo Mangas and Yacine Adli lead the way in terms of assists provided, with two apiece so far. Yacine Adli has now firmly established his reputation as an attacking threat, while the new recruit from Portugal appears to be adapting well to life in Bordeaux. The left back from Boavista has made a strong start to his first season with us.

Katja Snoeijs is top of the table at the moment, with 6 goals in all competitions. The Dutch ace, who joined us in June 2020, has been a constant menace to opposition defenders this season. Katja also tops the table for most assists, demonstrating just how important she is to the team (10 assists). With her superb sense of positioning and ability to read the game, Snoeijs pulls the strings in midfield. Gifted with great technique and precision in the final third, she is also the lynchpin of the team's attacking movements.

In the men's reserve side, freshly-minted Togo international Thibault Klidjé leads the way with 5 goals. He was instrumental in snatching a draw against Neuville last weekend, another demonstration of his good form. Junior Mwanga is in second place with 3 goals, a prolific start to the season for the defender. Sié Ouattara, Emeric Depussay, Johab Pascal and Logan Delaurier Chaubet have all scored one each so far.
