Coming back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 is an all too rare occurrence - in fact it's the first time it has ever happened for the Girondins! OK, Bordeaux have come back from two goals down before, but never when they were still trailing in the 72nd minute! Bravo to the boys for the incredible third act !

Jimmy Briand was on vintage form this Sunday, scoring two match-changing goals to sink Stade de Reims. These were also Jimmy's first goals of his 17th season in Ligue 1, making him the first player to score in 17 consecutive campaigns since Bernard Zénier in 1990-1991. Jimmy also celebrated his 470th career appearance in Ligue 1, and took his goal tally to 103. Jimmy has found the net 17 times in 86 matches for Bordeaux.

Another of Sunday's supersubs was Samuel Kalu, with the Nigeria international delivering his first assist of the season to tee up Jimmy Briand's first goal. A fine way to mark his 70th career appearance in Ligue 1.

Named in L’Equipe's team of the week, Yacine Adli put in a stellar performance and scored the goal which sparked the comeback. It was his first of the season. The midfielder already has two assists to his name this term. His career totals now stand at 6 goals and 10 assists from 76 appearances in Ligue 1.

Sékou Mara came on for the second half, making his 20th appearance in the top flight.
