Marion Haelewyn signs her first professional deal!

The Girondins de Bordeaux are pleased to announce that young defender Marion Haelewyn has signed her first professional contract, keeping her at the club until 2024.

Marion was born on 30 October 2004 in Lorient, and played for Breton club Riantec (ROC) from 2009 until 2019. Marion made the move to Bordeaux in the summer of 2019, and is now ready for the next chapter in her footballing career as she continues to progress and develop with the Girondines.

As a highly-promising young talent, Marion has already become a regular presence in the first-team squad. She has also represented France at U17 and U19 level.

Today marks an important milestone in Marion Haelewyn's blossoming career. She will remain with the youth team for the rest of this season, before graduating to the first team squad on a full-time basis this summer. Congratulations to Marion on turning pro!
