Rafal Straczek was born in February 1999 in Jarosław, Poland, where he has risen through the ranks with JKS 1909 Jarosław and UKS SMS Łódź.
Still just 22 years of age, the keeper has already made 41 appearances in the Ekstraklasa, Poland's premier league. He has also represented Poland at U18 level, and is considered one of the most promising young prospects in Polish football.
