The Girondins de Bordeaux face AS Monaco on Sunday 20 February at the Matmut Atlantique, with kick-off at 17:05. With the support of the club's newest sponsor - Crédit Mutuel du Sud-Ouest - this match will be dedicated to promoting our shared values of inclusion, fairness and balance, particularly when it comes to gender equality. The region's flagship bank doesn't consider football to be a man' game, and is instead keen to support our club in its entirety, backing the girls' teams just as much as the boys' sides. It thus makes perfect sense for Crédit Mutuel du Sud-Ouest to step up as principal matchday sponsor for Bordeaux-Monaco, with the men's game followed by a friendly match starring Bordeaux Women.

This is another concrete example of the club's determination to promote football for all, and celebrated our talented female players! All players will be warming up in special T-shirts bearing the message "United in football," there will be an equal balance of ball boys and ball girls, and the half-time Adidas challenge will include boys and girls playing together. Stadium MC Eric Dagrant will also be flanked by a female counterpart for the afternoon. Sunday 20 February will also see the "Girond’IN March" in celebration of women and their contributions to the regional community. For this 4th edition of the march, the Club is calling for submissions for the Girond’IN March Trophy 2022. This prize is awarded every year as part of our CSR programme "Cœur Marine et Blanc," and recognizes the work of women who have founded (or co-founded) start-ups whose products or services are having a positive societal and/or environmental impact in our region.
