The Girondins de Bordeaux are very happy to announce the arrival of David Guion. The new manager has signed a deal for the rest of the season, replacing Vladimir Petkovic.

Born in 1967 in Le Mans, David Guion is a former France defender turned manager.
He began his coaching career with SO Chambéry (CFA 2) in 2010, before joining AS Cannes (CFA) in 2011.
Having managed Reims’ youth and resereve sides since 2012, David Guion took over as the club’s first team manager in 2017.
The very next season, Stade de Reims won automatic promotion to the top flight as Ligue 2 champions. David Guion was also named manager of the year in Ligue 2.

Our new manager brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in French football (over 100 matches in L1), which will be vital assets as the club fights to stay in the top flight.
